What are The Flower Letters?

The Flower Letters is a subscription experience that brings captivating stories to life through beautifully crafted letters mailed directly to you. Each story unfolds over the course of 12 months, with 24 letters sent twice a month—typically on the second and fourth Fridays. After mailing, letters generally arrive within a two week period within the US, and six weeks internationally. 

In each envelope, you'll find heartfelt correspondence between story characters, along with thoughtfully designed extras like postcards, newspaper clippings, and other charming mementos that enrich the narrative.


How much do the stories cost?

Our prepaid story subscriptions are priced at $155.40, while monthly subscriptions are available for $12.95 per month.


In regard to shipping, we offer free shipping within the United States. 


For our international customers, shipping is calculated based on your location and the current exchange rate. We recommend proceeding to checkout to view the exact cost of shipping to your country.


Please note there are no duty fees associated with our letters, with the exception of the first letter, which is shipped as a package rather than standard mail and may incur customs fees depending on your country’s regulations.

What will I receive with my subscription?

Each story consists of 24 letters sent over a period of twelve months. In addition to the letters, each envelope includes additional items such as postcards, telegrams, posters, newspaper clippings, stickers, and more. All items are carefully designed to provide you with a truly immersive story experience.


You will also have access to our online Extended Learning articles, which give you historical context and additional insights into the era associated with each story. These articles contain no spoilers and are not a continuation or extension of the story and its characters. We hope they inspire you to dig deeper into the history and learn.

Once my story ends, does my subscription auto-renew?

Each story is purchased individually and does NOT automatically renew after the twelve-month period. When you're ready to begin your next story adventure, simply visit our website to select your next journey.

You are also welcome to subscribe to multiple stories at once, or take your time and enjoy each story one at a time.

Can I select a future mailing date for my letters?

We sincerely apologize, but we do not currently provide exact future mailing dates. Letters are shipped within 1-3 business days, with an estimated delivery time of 2–5 business days after shipment within the US (total transit time: 5–8 business days). International orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.

As a helpful guideline, we recommend placing your order based on these processing and shipping timeframes to align with your preferred delivery window—especially if you're planning the arrival of a gift.

Also, while we don’t offer a personalized gift message, we’ve created a Gift Notification card, which you can either print or email. This card lets your recipient know that a series of special letters is on its way.

Do you have stories for children?

Yes, while all of our stories are family-friendly, The Norah Aven Chronicles is perfect for readers age 10+.

Missing Letters

Your first letter will be shipped in 1-3 business days, and delivery will be 2-5 business days after that (5-8 business days total). We will send a USPS tracking notification upon fulfillment.


International orders have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.

  

Remaining letters will be sent via regular mail and generally mailed on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month. Please allow up to 2 weeks for US delivery, and 4-6 weeks for international delivery. Please also take into account any USPS holidays which may extend the date of your letters’ arrival.


If you haven’t received your letters by then, we will resend the letter at no additional cost to you.

Letters lost, damaged, or inaccurately addressed by The Flower Letters or the USPS will be resent at no additional cost to you.


Letters lost, damaged, or inaccurately addressed by the customer recipient can be replaced at a cost of $5 for US letters and $7 for international letters. Please ensure the address is correct when ordering, or notify us in a timely manner if your address is changing. We require a three week advance notification of an address change.

 

We also highly recommend signing up for Informed Delivery with USPS. This is a FREE service in which they'll notify you via email with scanned images of soon-to-be-delivered mail. Click here to sign up.

How do I return an order?

If you are dissatisfied with your story, please let us know within 30 days to receive a full refund. Refunds are not automatic with cancellations but available upon request. You are welcome to keep the letters that have been delivered to you. 

You may also change stories within 60 days for the cost of $5/letter ($7/letter internationally) already sent or processed. We can send one letter at no cost to you. After 60 days, changing stories is not available. 

Please note shipping costs are not eligible for refund. Costs and/or charges will be deducted from the approved refund amount.

After 30 days
Monthly Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), refunds are not available for monthly payments already collected. We will, however, send you the remaining letters that have been paid for.

Prepaid Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), you are entitled to a prorated refund of your subscription for up to 60 days from when your subscription began. 

After 60 days, refunds are not available for prepaid subscriptions. The remainder of the subscription will be mailed to the address provided. 

Refunds for Non-Letter Products
Refunds for non-letter products are available if returned within 30 days of purchase. This policy is extended to 60 days for international orders.


Items must be unused and returned in the same condition that you received it. Please write “REFUSED” on the unopened box, and return to your mail carrier. 


If your box has been opened, we unfortunately cannot cover the cost of return shipping unless the product was damaged when opened. The box will need to be returned at the cost of the customer. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


If returning the package at your own cost, please include the following information.

1. A copy of your order receipt in the shipping box with the item you are returning

How do I change my address?

Please note that if you are planning to move, notifying your post office will NOT automatically forward The Flower Letters. Additionally, updating your address in your account will NOT update it on our mailing lists. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This may result in delayed letters and, if two or more letters need to be resent without prior notification, a reshipping fee may apply. A three week advance notification of an address change is recommended. 


To update your address, please contact support@theflowerletters.com with the following information and allow 1-3 business days for an agent to respond.

How do I return an order for a refund?

Do you ship internationally?

Letters

We send our letters all over the world! To learn more about our latest prices and sales, please visit our website at www.theflowerletters.com. International shipping varies depending on your subscription and will be calculated in the final price. 


Your first letter will be shipped in 1-3 business days, and have an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks after shipment. A tracking number will be provided once the letter has been shipped.


Remaining letters will be sent via regular mail and generally mailed on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month. Delivery is within 6 weeks for international orders (no tracking available). Please find our mailing schedule date here.


Although this wait time may seem long, a letter is sent every 2nd and 4th Friday continuously afterwards, so letters will be arriving on a regular cycle about a few weeks apart.


Other Products (Besides letters)

Tins and prints ship within 1-3 business days and a tracking number will be sent once we process your order. Delivery usually occurs within 2-4 weeks internationally.


Do the Tin and Letters Ship Together?

What is your return/refund policy?

Our customer’s happiness and satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please let us know and we will do our best to help. Our general return and refund policies for specific products are below.

100% Satisfaction 30-Day Guarantee (Letters Only)
If you are dissatisfied with the story you can let us know within 30 days and receive a full refund. You are welcome to keep the letters that have been delivered to you. You may also change stories at no additional cost to you if the request is received within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days, we will refund the cost of the subscription less the value of the letters that have been processed and/or mailed. This will be assessed by dividing the total price paid by 24 to get a per-letter value. This policy is extended to 60 days for international letters.

Tins, prints, and puzzles (Excludes Letters)

Refunds for tins, prints, and puzzles are available if returned within 30 days of purchase. This policy is extended to 60 days for international orders.

Items must be unused and returned in the same condition that you received it.
Please write “REFUSED” on the unopened box, and return to your mail carrier. If your box has been opened and returned, we cannot cover the cost of return shipping unless the product was damaged when opened.

How do I update my payment and billing information?

100% Satisfaction 30-Day Guarantee (Letters Only)

If you are dissatisfied with your story, please let us know within 30 days to receive a full refund. Refunds are not automatic with cancellations but available upon request. You are welcome to keep the letters that have been delivered to you. 

You may also change stories within 60 days for the cost of $5/letter ($7/letter internationally) already sent or processed. We can send one letter at no cost to you. After 60 days, changing stories is not available. 

Please note shipping costs are not eligible for refund. Costs and/or charges will be deducted from the approved refund amount.

After 30 days

Monthly Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), refunds are not available for monthly payments already collected. We will, however, send you the remaining letters that have been paid for.

Prepaid Subscriptions
After the full refund guarantee expires (30 days), you are entitled to a prorated refund of your subscription for up to 60 days from when your subscription began. 

After 60 days, refunds are not available for prepaid subscriptions. The remainder of the subscription will be mailed to the address provided. 

Refunds for Non-Letter Products

Refunds for non-letter products are available if we are contacted within 30 days of purchase. This policy is extended to 60 days for international orders.

Items must be unused and returned in the same condition that you received it. Please write “REFUSED” on the unopened box, and return to your mail carrier. 

If your box has been opened, we unfortunately cannot cover the cost of return shipping unless the product was damaged when opened. The box will need to be returned at the cost of the customer. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If returning the package at your own cost, please include the following information.

1. A copy of your order receipt in the shipping box with the item you are returning
2. Include your order number, email, and first and last name
3. Indicate the reason for the return 
4. State if you would like a refund or exchange 

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the product that is intact and unused.

Monthly Subscription Cancellation

Do you offer a larger font size?

We do not offer larger font options at this time. The paper and fonts used vary from story to story, and letter to letter. Should you encounter issues with the font and would like to change stories, let us know so we can explore other options that may work better for you. Another suggestion is purchasing a magnifying reader.

Are there any employment opportunities?

How can I reach customer support?

For best results, please send inquiries through support@theflowerletters.com rather than through social media channels. Sending an email helps us connect accurately to your account.

Please allow 1-3 days for an agent to respond. If we are taking a longer time to respond, we are most likely facing an influx of emails but we will help when we reach your ticket. Rest assured that when an agent reaches your ticket, we will do everything within our power to assist.

Sending multiple emails, chat messages, and Facebook posts unfortunately congest our systems and makes response time slower. When another email is sent within the same email thread, your inquiry is sent to the back of the line which further delays our response time due to our email processing systems.
