My name is Mary Lee. The Audrey Rose letters were given to me by my son Noel as a Christmas Gift. It is the second set of letters he has gifted me. The Audrey Rose letters are special to me as it reminds me of my parents who met and were married during WWII. My dad was stationed in my mom's hometown, and they met at a skating rink. I love the letters so far. The historical events mentioned are familiar to me. Keep up the good work.

I'm experiencing these beautiful and incredibly fun letters quite differently than most people I think. I saved them all up for the summer to read them with my husband. (I work at an elementary school during the school year) We are "binge" reading the story of Audrey Rose and Charlie together and we both love it! We are fascinated by the era of WWII and both love to read! The character's story arch is not only funny and romantic, it also pulls at your heartstrings! The use of accurate time period slang and references makes these letters come to life! We also love the extras that come with the letters! After twenty years of marriage, it also helps my sweetie and I rekindle those romantic butterflies we felt so strongly when we were younger. It's a great date night to read these letters together! I just purchased a new story set and am so excited to start it! However, I'm not waiting until next summer to enjoy them! No way! I'm going to read them as a I get them!
