Excited every week to find out what’s happening next. When will you be releasing the tin? I’d love to have the perfect storage keepsake for the letters.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my friend who loves receiving mail. She doesn't get out a lot outside of doctors appointments and flowers die too fast! Enter the Flower Letters. Wow, I had no idea what I was sending. I knew it would be a literary adventure but the attention to detail, the beautiful artifacts, and the gorgeous designs just blew me away. She says this is the most perfect gift anyone has ever given her. I am so happy I saw this ad and pulled the trigger. Now I have a great gift idea in my pocket for years to come.

My wife loves the Flower Letters. I got her the subscription for her birthday, and after just three letters, she has already said she wants another subscription for her next birthday!

I wanted to love it, I even bought one for an elderly friend before I got mine. It just seems like it’s a slow start and granted I’m only on letter three or is it four? The story line really grabbed me, but the actual letters could be a bit more exciting. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get more into it with each letter. My friend says it’s a bit hard for her to read the different scripts. She strains sometimes, wishing that the script could be a bit larger with more contrast. She really likes the letters though.

I love this kinds of stuff it’s so fun I look forward to more coming

This is so much fun! I got this for a few of the women in my family, including myself, and now we text each other about the letters. A great way to stay connected!

After an initial blip which may have been caused by USPS, the letters started arriving at the home of my 90 year old friend.
It was a surprise and she didn’t know who sent them until I recently confessed!
She loves them and now looks forward to their arrival and is telling all of her friends and neighbors about them.
The perfect fluffy that keeps on giving.

Story is slow and predictable.

I've always been a fan of the serialized movies/literature. I remember the Perils of Pauline short subjects in classic movie collections. Even Charles Dickens's A Tale of Two Cities was published in serial installments.
In The Flower Letters you get to engage in this same process - a whole novel doled out in segments. My first choice in titles is
The Orchid Mae Letters is about an adventurous young journalist who goes on a trek down the Amazon river. The characters are well fleshed, the story is intriguing, the tale and ephemera you are sent keeps you guessing about what the next installment will bring.
This is a fun story plus, when housed in one of the lovely floral boxes, a great keepsake. Also, great for gifting.

Such wonderful adventures to imagine! I do enjoy the correspondence. Thank you

I'm loving Orchid Mae and Sam's letters! Such a special and unique way to tell a story.
I have a deep love for the period (1910s) and history, archeology, adventure, and exploration have always been favourite genres/elements!
I was worried going into it about how much modern life, sensibilities, and beliefs would influence the story, but 5 letters in, in very pleased that it's appropriate to the period. And the relationship between the main two characters?? I love them so much.

I bought the Orchid Mae letters for my Mom for her birthday. She loves it! She calls me whenever she gets letters in the mail. I would have given 5 stars, but apparently the Orchid Mae letters are the only one without a storage tin available.

I love this idea! This makes a great gift for someone who loves to read and receive snail mail letters!

I think its great, however, my only issue it that the print of the letters is extremely small. I got this for my 84 year old mother and she has difficulty reading them. She has to save them up until someone can read them to her. I live several states away and only see her in person a few times a year.

This was/is a gift for myself, but I had given a letter set to a friend who absolutely loved it.
I wait patiently for the next letter to arrive. This is such a unique gift and fun too!
Linda
I really like the letters so far. Still too early in the story to say whether or not I like it as much as I like the first one I read. Just waiting for a chance to order a tin to keep them in.
Rebecca C.
I bought this for my mother and she absolutely loves it. Unfortunately, she said the font is a bit too small to read without a magnifying glass. This is her third story with your company and I hope that you’ll create more that she’ll be interested in reading.

Wonderful story and it is so much fun to get these letters!!!

I bought this as a gift for my mom and it was the best thing I've done in awhile. Everytime a new one comes I get this message (photo attached) and she is sharing the stories with the ladies at church everyone has a theory on what will happen next it's so much fun! And at first I had some issues with delivery but the customer service team is great and made everything right! Highly recommend for you or a friend.

These letters are so fun along with the cards, posters and enclosures. Thinking about using these as a collage on a wall or a table....so cute..

From the outset, I was intrigued by The Flower Letters. I'ma big fan of epistolary form, and I love the way that some novels amped up the ante by using all sorts documentation to tell the story (like Dracula and Where'd You Go, Bernadette?). The Flower Letters has taken it a step further by providing individual physical items, which makes the experience tactile and a little changeable in ways that books can't provide.
I'm five letters into the Orchid-May Archeology Adventure, and I'm having so much fun. I'm getting to know the characters and their motivations for going on the expedition. I love seeing the handbills, telegrams, and magazine cut-outs that give that scrappy feel to the letters. Everything is beautifully printed, often with art nouveau styling, which reinforces the 1910 timeline. I also appreciate the "gifts" in each envelope that can be used or displayed instead of kept in the envelope.
I have one small critique, and that pertains to legibility. Painstaking efforts have been made to help the experience feel as real as possible, which includes handwriting style fonts for the letters and journal entries. These can be challenging to read. My eyes aren't what they once were and sometimes it takes a long time to read the documents because I have to decipher words or letters. A slightly larger point size with a little more kerning and tracking between letters will give those fonts a bit more "breath" and help them to be more legible.
Ultimately, this is proving to be a fun experience, and I'm looking forward to reading how the story unfolds. I've recommended The Flower Letters to several friends already!

I love these letters and getting caught up in the lives an adventures of these characters. I am always looking forward to the next letter! These are so much fun!

Oh, it is so much fun! I love the idea, but also that it it's beyond my expectations! The mix of posters, articles, illustrations, snippets of this and that, fake tickets/telegrams etc. It is so immersive. I also really like that there highlighted words/names that I can learn more about on your history/learn link on the page. It's teaching me history, slang, about important people and things that happened that I would never know to ask about.
And the handwriting- gives it a real feel of authenticity. I am a part of the story, the observer, the tag-along, and get to read correspondences. This is an amazing product/project. I can't imagine how much work went into this-- but I can in another way-- I get to disappear for a little while in a different world. That takes work and dedication. Thank you for making this!!

This was a gift, and the receiver was thrilled!

I just viewed the additional information for Letters 3 &4, read both letters this morning, added them to my scrapbook, and am waiting for Letter 5 additional email to arrive. I am so enjoying Orchid Mae's adventure this far. When I have finished creating my scrapbook I will share it. Thank you again for such wonderful entertainment outside of the norm.

The Flower Letters are fabulous! Whether I sit down for a few minutes or an hour, I savor each letter, accompaniments and the research section developed with such care. They are my moments of delight in an otherwise complicated world. Thank you so much. I was so enjoying Audrey Rose, my first subscription which was a gift, that halfway through I ordered Orchid Mae for myself. I do think I may keep that practice up going forward. I look forward to each and every letter!
Asmaa B.
I haven't received the letters from the new Orchid Mae yet. There has been a problem with the program but Sophie has kindly mail me back to inform me that the problem is settled and I will start to get the first 4 letters soon. So I can't really get you a feeback yet. But since I have already got The Lilly Clara and Nora Aven, I am sure this new story will be as great !

The Flower Letters are a wonderful mailbox treat!

Very enjoyable experience thus far. Compelling story line. Characters are being nicely developed. Love learning about that time.

This is the second Mother's Day gift for my mother, she enjoyed Audrey Rose so much I ordered a second this year.

I would like to get the tin for these letters so I have a place for them as the series goes along.
Peace!

It is always exciting to sit down with my wife as she goes through each of the enclosures and reads the latest letter !

I absolutely love my Flower Letters collection. I have every story tied up with a ribbon and I keep them in a pretty box that makes me happy every time I see it.
I do appreciate how talented some people are on the community page but I really don't like seeing the content of the letters before I open my own, so I'm just going to stick to reading your emails. Part of the fun for me is keeping it a surprise.
Thank you for your beautiful work.

I’m already reading the Norah Aven letters and have been enjoying them very much. I look forward to reading each one. They are very well done. Along with the letters come many ad ons like maps, newspapers, coded pages and many more.
When the announcement came about the Orchid Mae letters I knew I had to read them too. Where Norah Aven is a fantasy, Orchid Mae takes place in the Amazon with Orchid being a newspaper reporter. Once again there are many inserts along with the letters.
The pre-sale had a nice discount so the price was reasonable. The hardest part was waiting for the letters to arrive. I have now received the first letter and it does not disappoint!
Jane
Nice to get mail that’s not a bill

This is my third series and I love them all! Only suggestion would be to make the print a little larger for us with older eyes.
Mayda
The stories are amazing, and I love them.
