Frequently Asked Questions About The Lily Clara Letters
What Are The Lily Clara Letters?
The Lily Clara letters are our most adventurous story. It's a Wild West story that centers around the Silver Mine collapse that happened in Frisco Utah in the 1880s. It's also a story that explores, there's a treasure hunt as well as a ghost story and it also focuses heavily on an issue that was really a kind of a big deal in Utah which was the women's suffrage movement.
What Is The Backstory Of The Lily Clara Plot Points?
The plot points of "The Lily Clara Story" revolve around Lily's journey to Frisco to meet the man she intends to marry as a result of responding to a mail-order bride ad. This marks a significant moment for Lily, showcasing her spirited personality. Another notable aspect of the story is the appearance of a ghostly character, which adds intrigue and excitement. The ghost is tied to Frisco's history and the legend of the "Widow in White," although the author has adapted and modified the legend for narrative flow. Incorporating historical elements into the story allows the writer to blend actual history with creative imagination, giving these elements more depth and life. This mix of history and fiction is a hallmark of the historical fiction genre, providing opportunities to delve into the "why" and "what if" aspects of historical events. Some of the most cherished parts of the narrative involve these ghostly encounters and explorations of historical inspiration within the context of Lily's collection of letters.
Can you discuss the role of romance in the "Lily Clara Letters"?
The thing that I love about Lily Clara is that the two main characters fall in love with each other while they're kind of going through this adventure together or their own Adventures
whatever point of the story you're at but they're able to kind of value & learn to value and love each other as they are trying to solve these mysteries as they go along and I just think that that's a really fun way to see two characters fall in love and I think even more than that seeing these two characters fall in love through their letters to each other is also a really lovely kind of guilty pleasure way of seeing a love story unfold because you kind of are getting that front row peek at the Love Story unfolding and I just think that that's just such a pleasure to experience a story like that.
How Did You Approach The Development Of Lily Clara Moore's Character Development?
Developing Lily Claire's character was pretty easy she kind of came into my mind fully formed as a very spunky and very independent very determined and really brave person I think that that's how women had to be back in the day especially in the 1880s when they were facing such great odds but also in order to answer a mail order bride at I think you would have to be extremely Brave and Spunky so that's kind of how she just came so it was pretty easy to develop Lily Clara.
