I just received my 5th letter today and I'm looking forward to relaxing with a cup of tea and reading it. It has been an inspiration for me to pick up my own pen again. One suggestion โ for older seniors, maybe have an option for a larger print selection. My mom would love these stories but is unable to read the small print.

Each letter is a unique experience and contains an extra surprise โ a postcard, recipe, etc. The letters often contain a historical lesson or reference, and use expressions from the time period that can be looked up on the website. I enjoy receiving the letters and my husband reads them as well.

I love the WWII era. My parents married in 1939 and I was born in 1940. My dad helped build LSTs in northern Illinois. I remember ration books. I love these letters because they give a personal look into that time. Such a treasure.

By letter number eight I became even more invested. What's this machine that's constructive, ridiculous and a nuisance? Rich colors of red or golden and things lurking. Questions to be revealed in letters to come. More Regency letters and the thrill of waitingโฆ love it.
After a few corrections with the delivery everything is going well and I am really enjoying the letters and the added extra cards that make each letter a surprise. It takes me a few minutes to get the characters straight but that's my biggest difficulty โ it's like a mystery I unravel each time.

I am from Germany and English is not my native language. But the pictures I saw were so lovely I wanted to give it a try. I ordered Lily Clara. When the letter arrives I first read everything โ then I translate it to German and read it aloud to my parents who are both 85. I received this as a surprise gift from my daughter. Before I got them she simply asked me: if you could go on an adventure, would it be a western or an archaeology trip? I picked archaeology โ it was the perfect choice. I'm loving the idea and the story. It reminds me of when I was younger and mailed letters to friends and family. Although the Norah Aven letters are supposed to be for younger people, I am getting much enjoyment even though I am 64. I look forward to each letter and the extra items.
